About ME
I am an Illustrator and Painter from Merthyr Tydfil , whose work is created using traditional mediums such as oil paint, ink, charcoal, watercolour, and pencil. AS a lover of history and a Welsh speaker myself, my work often focuses on exploring Welsh history, mythology, culture, people, and places. Through my work I look to highlight the uniqueness of Wales to the wider world. Studying Illustration animation at Kingston College of Art, I achieved a First-Class honours. Using these to find many interesting opportunities e.g. In 2021 with my group, we gained second prize for our animation, for the vintage published book "400 souls" which explored 400 years of African American history, told in the book through an animated tapestry. In 2022 I won a competition where my work was accepted permanently into Kingston Museums Brill Collection, for my illustration of Tolworth Tower, to archiving the historically significant building for the future. Prior to this, whilst at Merthyr College in 2019, I won the competition to design the T-shirts used for the participants of the annual Merthyr Half Marathon.
