This illustration depicts Rhitta Gawr, Largest and feiourcest of allthe giants in welsh mythology. After defeating all kings on the isles of britain and sowing theyre beards into hiscloak rhitta challanges King Arthur himself. In this great battle he is defeated  rocks arelaidonhisbody, The pile is so high that snowfalls on its peak. there after the mountain was called Rhittas tomb, later becoming Yr Wyddfa  in Welsh and Snowdon  in English. 


All prints are high quality with a 20mm white border for framing, they are wrapped in plastic with a mountboard inside to secure them.
